First call for abstract submission

We invite you to take part in the 5th World’s Large Rivers Conference to be held in Vienna, Austria, from 21 to 25 August 2023. The International Conference on „The Status and Future of the World’s Large Rivers“ provides a global forum for a wide-ranging discussion of key issues related to research on large rivers and to their effective and sustainable management, involving both scientists and decision makers. The central theme of this conference is “Rivers in a Changing World” with 4 key topics and several sub-topics. Your active participation will be the basis of this conference and we look forward to receiving your contributions! The deadline for abstract submission is extended to the 15 January 2023. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and we will inform contributors if their abstract has been selected by end of February 2023. Please contact us here should you have any questions regarding the conference.
